Arriving at the top of Fira can be a bit overwhelming, but fear not, your private guide or driver host will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name. And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can take a leisurely 15-20 minute walk to the center of Fira, where you’ll find the central bus station and taxi station to explore the rest of Santorini.       4. Tendering to the port of Athinios

But what if you’re arriving by cruise ship and being tendered to the port of Athinios? No problem! Just hop on one of the designated buses that will take you to the top of Fira for your semi-private shore excursion. And when your tour is finished, don’t forget to make your way back to the cable car area or 588 stairs to catch your last tender back to the ship.
