1Take one of the first tender boats from your ship to Gialos, Fira's old port
2Head to the cable car (recommended over donkey path or stairs)
3Buy a one-way ticket (€10/person) for the 3-minute ride to Fira town
4Exit the cable car. Markos waits right at the upper station exit with a sign: "I Am Santorini and [Your Name]"

Key Note: Individual cruise travelers use Fira cable car. Organized shore excursions may go to Athinios Port. Markos confirms your exact meeting point when booking.

When we were ready to be picked up we contacted him and then we had the most amazing tour of the rest of the island. We went from one end to the other seeing beaches, iconic landmarks as well as hidden gems but the highlight was the stunning views. He showed us the most breathtaking viewpoints all along the island. He had so much knowledge about the local area and the culture in Santorini. Being able to see his local town was awesome, he even showed us where he lived!  The restaurant he took us too was one of the best meals of our trip and they treated us like family!  Markos was never worried about the time of the tour, he let us enjoy each destination even if that meant we went a little over on time. We never felt rushed!  You can tell he truly enjoys what he does and wants his friends (not customers) to enjoy the tour.
