We were a group of 4 for a private tour of Santorini Greece with Markos and his tour service I Am Santorini. We highly recommend his 5 star service where we found him to be prompt, extremely knowledgeable about the history and geography of the county as well as many other topics we discussed and enjoyed visiting with him.  He was fluent in English for us but also speaks other languages. Markos was completely accommodating to our requests of what we would like to see and guided us to the best places including a great restaurant for lunch. We had a very relaxing tour with Markos. He is warm, funny, and informative. Let him know your pace and what you are interested in and he will make it happen. Marcos was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we met him, he made us feel welcome and comfortable. His knowledge of Greece, its history, culture, and the areas we visited was incredible, and he shared it in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. One of the highlights of our tour was stopping at a local restaurant in his hometown, where we enjoyed one of the best and most authentic Greek lunches of our entire trip. It was an experience we never would have found on our own. If you're considering a Tour By Locals experience in Greece, do yourself a favor and request Marcos. We planned a tour with Marko for our first day in Santorini, and what a wonderful choice it was to start our vacation here! Marko’s love for the island and its people shines through, and we really enjoyed learning from him. He brought us to the must-see spots, and also some hidden gems. My husband and I spent the day touring Santorini with Markos. It was a fantastic experience! We spent time in many parts of the island and Markos shared interesting information about it all. We had the most amazing time in Santorini with Markos. He was kind and professional from start to finish. We needed a tour that was a bit complicated and Markos accommodated! He picked us up in Fira and drove us to Oia where we walked around at our leisure. When we were ready to be picked up we contacted him and then we had the most amazing tour of the rest of the island. We went from one end to the other seeing beaches, iconic landmarks as well as hidden gems but the highlight was the stunning views. He showed us the most breathtaking viewpoints all along the island. We had the best tour with Markos!  His communication prior to the tour was great, he confirmed the day before, and was on time!  He had so much knowledge about the local area and the culture in Santorini. Being able to see his local town was awesome, he even showed us where he lived!  The restaurant he took us too was one of the best meals of our trip and they treated us like family!  Markos was never worried about the time of the tour, he let us enjoy each destination even if that meant we went a little over on time. We never felt rushed!  You can tell he truly enjoys what he does and wants his friends (not customers) to enjoy the tour. He even offered to help with other recommendations if we ever had questions about the area even after the tour. He even takes pictures and sends them to you after! We had the most wonderful time, with our tour guide Markos (with a K) ‼️ If you're looking for a real authentic understanding of the island, and the cities like OIA and FIRA and off the beaten path. This is the guy you want to be with. 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨. Great hospitality, a family man, and his local and global knowledge is amazing, very accommodating of our small group of 12. Our shore excursion in Santorini was truly one of the highlights of our cruise. The breathtaking scenery and carefully planned itinerary were exceptional, but what made the experience unforgettable was our guide. Booking with Markos provides the most wonderful experience, not a typical tour.  This was our second excusion with Markos and we cannot wait for the next.  His service is exceptional.  He is personal, professional and the most lovely guide.  He made this trip even better than the first.  We had an outstanding meal at a local tavern, visited the beach, saw beautiful sites and hidden gems. If you're visiting Santorini, I highly recommend Markos and I am Santorini.
